Oceanis 35 to make debut at Annapolis Boat Show this year!

Beneteau’s New Oceanis 35 Expands the Customizable Cruiser Concept
ANNAPOLIS, Md., July 24 2014 –
 Beneteau America announces the U.S. premiere of the all-new Oceanis 35 at the upcoming Annapolis Sailboat Show, October 9-13 2014.

The Oceanis 35 is being introduced on the heels of the world-acclaimed Oceanis 38, which made its debut
last fall and was awarded European Yacht of the Year 2014 along with Best Boat 2014 in the U.S. by the
publishers of SAIL magazine. The Oceanis 35 is designed to offer the same elegance and level of
customization as the Oceanis 38, but in a sailboat under 35 feet.

“The success of the Oceanis 38 prompted our product development team to revisit the concept of
customization over time to a smaller model that would fulfill the sailing dreams of a broader audience,”
commented Chris Doscher, sailboat sales manager for Beneteau America. “The new Oceanis 35 represents
an incredible accomplishment, in terms of space optimization, comfort and sailing performance,” added
Doscher. “It has already grabbed the attention of our dealers who first saw the boat during the Global
Dealer Meeting earlier this month. We’re hopeful the Oceanis 35 will become a new reference as a
versatile and highly capable cruiser.”

Taking up the appealing idea of a ‘three-in-one’ cruising boat, the Oceanis 35 is a cruiser that can be
adapted to her owner’s sailing lifestyle with three starting configurations from which to choose: Daysailer,
Weekender or Cruiser. The ability to further customize the boat over the years by adding or removing
certain components of the boat is carried over from the 38: examples include stowage, seating, bulkhead
and galley equipment. In a conscious effort to fit the owner’s preference, the new Oceanis 35 is available
with an optional lifting keel. The arch and swim platform are also optional with all three versions.
Beneteau has revamped inclusions in the base model of each configuration to provide sailors even more
features as ‘standard.’

• The daysailer offers more stowage in the saloon, an opening chart table and compatible mooring
pack.
• The weekender features integrated aft cabins as standard with wooden hanging lockers, but also
stowage in the saloon and a water heater. This configuration retains the essential packs such as fitted
galley, electricity and mooring pack.
• The cruiser offers even more choices of configurations.

Created in 1986, the Oceanis range continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of all sailors.

 It was a big delivery day yesterday! The Greenline 33 and the Beneteau Swift Trawler 44 arrived at the Port of Charleston.

Check out that sleek profile. Can't you see a big red bow on it? Perfect Christmas gift.

 The Greenline 33 was splashed first. 

 The Greenline 33 is a hybrid, and is the first of its kind to arrive at our office, since we became Greenline 33 dealers. To read more about this innovative technology click here to be directed to the Greenline site.

Here she is heading towards our dock at the Charleston City Marina. Picture yourself onboard for a Christmas cruise! It is almost 80 in Charleston today. Perfect boating weather.

Look how excited we all are to have the boats at our dock! The gang's all here! Chris is on the dock photographing the features of the boat and he caught Katie, Eddie and JM inspecting the boat!

The best part of delivery day is when everything has arrived and we can all explore the new product.Katie is already a big fan of the mirrored doorway. It will be excellent to do her hair when underway!

St. Barts Yachts is new Greenline dealer

St. Barts Yachts is proud to be named the new dealer for Greenline Yacht Sales in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. 

The company will represent Seaway’s line of hybrid yachts in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. The models include the Greenline33, 40 and 48. 

Greenline Yachts are powered by a diesel/electric drive system. Lithium polymer batteries are charged by a photovoltaic system located on the roof that converts sunlight into electricity while the boat is docked or at anchor. 

We have a 33 on order and we expect that she will be here by November. 

We are looking forward to working with the largest hybrid fleet of yachts in the world.

Beneteau Introduces 38 Footer You Design to Fit Your Lifestyle

Beneteau will reveal its newest concept in sailboat design when it launches the Oceanis 38 at the United States Sailboat Show, October 10-14, 2013 in Annapolis, MD.


“The Oceanis 38 offers a level of customization no other builder has ever offered before at this size. However, what is quite remarkable, and what makes the Oceanis 38 so innovative is the fact this boat can evolve with your changing needs over time. The boat should fit its owner, not the other way around,” says Beneteau America President Laurent Fabre.


The new Oceanis 38 can be a day sailer, weekender, or cruiser based on the owner’s needs and preferences.


The day sailer offers an open, loft-like space with clean lines and an uncluttered feel. A two-person berth is located far forward and the aft of the yacht is dedicated to storage.


The weekender features two and three-cabin layouts, which can remain open or enclosed based on privacy preferences. It can also include a separate shower, fitted galley and extra table in the salon and/or cockpit. The weekender offers the most flexibility allowing many interior components to be added to the yacht as the owner’s needs evolve over time.


The cruiser can have two or three fitted cabins, a large galley, mainsail arch, helmsman seats and swim platform. While more conventional, its owners can choose the layout configuration and some components based on personal inclination.


The Oceanis 38 features a continuous full-length chine and deep draft T-shaped keel, which has proven to enhance performance, increase stiffness and provide stability while reducing heel. Moreover, the yacht’s twin rudders make way for a more responsive helm.

Beneteau launched the Oceanis series in the 1980’s and last year the evolution of the range continued with the Oceanis 58 and 50. This fall Beneteau will introduce two new models, the Oceanis 45 and 41, which will both be built at Beneteau’s factory in Marion, SC.

The Oceanis 41 and 45 offer more space and comfort while preserving the great sailing characteristics of the range. Designed by naval architects Finot-Conq and Associates the boats have a sleek low profile cabin with long coachroof windows. Essential elements that characterize the Oceanis range such as a large cockpit securely enclosed by an athwartship helmsman’s bench, pure and stretched lines and good performance still exist. Major highlights of these new Oceanis include a luminous interior plus an ingenious full width, electrically operated transom enclosure that provides easy access to the sea. This new feature, which is normally only seen on Super Yachts, incorporates the aft bathing platform opening by remote control.
Multiple layout options are available for the salon and the Dock & Go joystick control maneuvering system is also offered as an available option on the 41 and 45.

Annapolis, MD, NOVEMVER 2 2010: With all the attributes that made the Swift Trawler range the benchmark for couples or families who are passionate about boating, the new Swift Trawler 44 turns comfort into a way of life.

SWIFT TRAWLER: A COMPLETE RANGE TO EXTEND YOUR HORIZONS
With the launch of the Swift Trawler 44, Beneteau marks the renewal of this range, whose ‘voyage’ style has enjoyed great success. As a replacement for the Swift Trawler 42, the Swift Trawler 44 completes a range of boats from 34 to 52 feet.
The Swift Trawler 44 provides ideal conditions for cruising and living on board – whether as a couple, a family or a group of friends. The new dimensions and intelligent layout promise for some unforgettable voyages.
Acclaimed Performance
The Swift Trawler’s well-proven hull provides an unfailing stability. Its optimized performance combines speed with consumption control. The 2 x 300 hp engines allow for a cruising speed of 18 knots (top speed of more than 24 knots).
Enlarged interior
Designed for life on board, the Swift Trawler 44 offers a spacious and functional interior. The new asymmetric deck is more than 16 inches wider than that of the Swift Trawler 42. The wheelhouse area has been entirely redesigned and is 3 feet longer, made possible by modifying the angle of the forward windows.
Redistribution of space
The forward cabin is impressive with its combination of comfort and light provided through two large portholes. The guest cabin, to port, is now provided with a large double berth. To starboard are the 2 head compartments, larger and updated to fit the on-board living lifestyle.
The saloon is convertible into a double cabin, equipped with a dividing curtain. The U-shaped galley has plenty of space for storage. Additionally, the wheelhouse has been upgraded for optimum navigation with a new design and new surface finish, which cuts out windscreen reflections.
HULL DEVELOPMENTS
Uninterrupted views and maximum light – the addition of large fixed ports in the hull gives a sense of harmony while generous portholes help ventilate and brighten the interior.
On deck, the bathing platform aft has been lengthened and benefits from the same bathing ladder as the Swift Trawler 52, which is particularly ergonomic.
A semi-recessed staircase leads from the spacious cockpit to the flybridge. There is room in the cockpit for an L-shaped bench seat to provide shelter for mealtime.
Now three feet longer, the flybridge can comfortably accommodate two pilot seats at the helm station and a large instrument panel.
Priority has been given to the enlarged saloon, which has a built-in sofa to starboard with multiple storage compartments.
Finally, the loading mast and boom system includes an electric winch for hoisting the tender effortlessly.
The Swift Trawler 44 will make its first appearance at the Paris boat show this December. It is scheduled to make its North-American debut at the Miami International Boat Show, February 17th through 21st.
